The software help you to block distracting websites and applications, provide reminders and auto shutdown. With the software, you can schedule your work on, run a defined profile with a set of saved block or focus sessions. For example for weekday you might want to block Facebook and Youtube from 9am until 1pm, while for weekend you may block all work related applications, then you can define two profiles: weekday and weekend. Focus One Mind can block access to any software on your computer. You can choose the applications either by the name of the application program or by the process name e.g. “firefox.exe”.
Block internet sites
Focus One Mind block out distracting websites for a set amount of time, set it for 3 hours, for instance, and your browser will behave as if it’s offline for that period of time. No amount of browser restarts or computer reboots will stop it.
Rather than completely disabling the entire Internet, you can selectively decide which sites are blocked, or accessible during your focus period, Focus One Mind supports all common browsers such as Internet Explorer, Opera, Google Chrome and Firefox.
Reminders
Focus One Mind can set recurrence reminder events, will remind you with pop-up message and sound alert in time.
Auto shutdown
Focus One Mind can set auto shutdown time for your computer, pop-up message and sound alert will present 10 minutes ahead, remind to save your unsaved work and prepare for power off, your PC will be shut down when timer expired. Of course, you can cancel before the time.
Checkcode
Checkcode may need for some operation on Focus One Mind for example to stop, exit or edit, for preventing you to go back distracting things.
Checkcode is a serial of random characters include number, letter and symbol, it’s case sensitive.
You can decide checkcode length, or even don’t use any checkcode for some/all operations.
